Schneider Power Granted Ontario Electricity Generator License

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 24, 2005 -- Schneider Power Inc. announced today that it has been granted an Electricity Generator License by the Ontario Energy Board.

With pre-construction efforts already underway, the 15 MW Providence Bay Wind Farm in the Township of Central Manitoulin is expected to be one of Ontario's first wind farms to be built in five years. The license authorizes Schneider Power to generate electricity and provide ancillary services for sale though the IMO-administered markets. The license shall take effect immediately and will be valid until 2025.
