SCI Solutions Consumer Portal was recognized as a Web-based product that is used to enhance the business processes within an organization. It enables patients to view, pre-register and schedule their individual and family healthcare appointments online, at their convenience. Consumers can view their previous appointment history, current appointment details, including: date, time, location, and status of upcoming appointments as well as other pertinent information such as prep notes, procedure descriptions and directions. Additionally, patients can schedule or request appointments and interact with the hospital to communicate their appointment preferences, questions or concerns. Consumers are able to complete online, forms required during the pre-registration process, print them out prior to their arrival and bring them to their appointment, which results in a decreased wait time and an increase in patient satisfaction. Any appointment scheduled within the Consumer Portal can be affiliated with an automated appointment reminder (sent via telephone, pager or email.)
