Alternatively, agencies can buy directly from now more than 1,000 cloud service providers that cover the full range of NIST definitions.

This panel will discuss pricing, scale, data management, performance and most importantly security and the need for trust as parameters that agencies should consider in their sourcing decisions. Speakers will stress the need for visibility into and control over the cloud environment; the appropriateness of that cloud environment for your business services; associated SLAs; and the ability to test the environment for acceptable monitoring/management as must-address items before signing on the dotted line.
