Sckipio Chipsets Among First in Certified Gfast CPE and DPU Products

Sckipio Achieves Interoperability with Arris and Calix Through the Broadband Forum Gfast Certification Program

RAMAT GAN, ISRAEL--(Marketwired - June 15, 2017) - Sckipio announced today it is one of the first Gfast chip vendors to have chips certified in Gfast CPE and DPU products. Sckipio, along with partners Arris and Calix, participated in the Gfast certification program from the Broadband Forum and the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), and are among the first Gfast vendors to complete the rigorous certification program.

"The market has been demanding Gfast certified solutions and now they are ready," said David Baum, Co-founder and CEO of Sckipio Technologies, the leader in Gfast modems. "The Broadband Forum and UNH-IOL have done a terrific job in creating the highest level of interoperability in the broadband industry."

"Telcos want device-level interoperability," said Julie Kunstler, Principal Analyst, Ovum. "This is a major step forward for Gfast and proof of its commercial-readiness as telcos move from field trials to large-scale deployments."

Sckipio has been fully active in the UNH-IOL Gfast efforts since the beginning, has participated in every Gfast Chipset & System Integrator Interoperability sponsored plugfest, and also partnered with other chipset vendors privately to ensure the best interoperability.
