Scoopr Media, Inc. Launches World's First App for Crowdsourcing Licensed Brand Content

New App Enables Brands to Reward Users for Taking Selfies With Their Products and at Events

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Sep 10, 2014) - Scoopr Media, Inc., today officially announced the launch of Scoopr, a mobile application that allows brands to reward loyal customers while capturing genuine, licensed images using their products or at their events. The free app, available on the IOS platform, enables brands to create assignments for users through a simple interface to generate licensed content.

Once users download the app and sign a digital release, they are invited to complete brand assignments by uploading their original photos and selfies with the brand. Following each upload, users receive varying rewards based on the number of authentic shares their content receives.

"Scoopr activates the influencers that drive brand consumption and increase bottom line value. We've found our app is incredibly beneficial to brand storytelling for companies looking to increase engagement in real-time," said Jeremy Smith, CEO of Scoopr Media, Inc. "Brands love our service because we can offer a turnkey solution to generate, store and license a database of brand images that represents real life moments from their biggest fans."

Scoopr brands are able to monitor their user assignment campaigns through a personalized web dashboard including analytics to determine exactly who and where their brand influencers and evangelists are. Additionally, Scoopr tracks brand specific user-generated content in real time across five social platforms, which is integral to determining value. To date, Scoopr Media has successfully tested the service with CollegeFest, Pemberton Farms, Delucca's Market, Mass Innovation Nights and at select Whole Foods Markets.
