Scoot & Doodle's Social Creativity Platform Engages Students

Jump Starting Entrepreneurial Minds

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2013) - Scoot & Doodle announced today that is will be demoing at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2013, Start-Up Alley, on Monday, September 9. Scoot & Doodle is a social creativity platform where friends and classmates think visually and work creatively together inside live, collaboration studios that provide an innovative space to share, brainstorm, create, and problem-solve together, whether at home, at school or on-the-go.

In its first collaboration studio, built as an app on Google+ Hangouts, Scoot & Doodle users work together on a shared canvas with face-to-face video using drawing, creation tools and kickstarter activities for creative and entrepreneurial thinking. Up to 10 people can collaborate and create simultaneously. The product's design makes it easy to expand on each others' thinking. Users can brainstorm with one group, advance concepts with another, and share to the community for additional feedback.

"Passion and learning go hand-in-hand when we work creatively and build upon ideas together," said Christine Egy Rose, CEO of Scoot & Doodle. "At Scoot & Doodle, we empower learners to make, play and learn together through a mix of peer collaboration, social community and open-ended design. Our products are designed to spark creative conversations and amplify thinking, evolving individual and group contributions into something truly transformative."

Scoot & Doodle also facilitates a broader community of learning by enabling interactions between users -- learners can work together with educators, parents, friends or experts from around the world.

Educators use Scoot & Doodle to help:

  • Unite with global classrooms, physically separated campuses or classes
  • Discuss, collaborate, create and improvise on projects together
