Scoreloop Enabled iPhone Games Proliferate App Store

Game Developers Get Advanced Mobile Social Gaming Technologies in Free SDK

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and MUNICH, GERMANY--(Marketwire - June 4, 2009) - Scoreloop, the leading mobile social gaming platform, today announces new Scoreloop enabled games including its own Bug Landing (demo game), Aeio, Submarine and Zombie Pub Crawl -- all available in Apple's iPhone App Store today. Scoreloop's mobile social gaming platform helps game developers improve the player experience with features including: server-based high scores, challenges to other players via their address book or social networks like Facebook as well as profiles and avatars. With its easy to implement SDK, customizable user interface and highly available server infrastructure, Scoreloop works with any iPhone or iPod touch game (that renders a score) on OS 3.0 or earlier and delivers instant competitive advantage to game developers. Scoreloop licenses its technology entirely for free.

Scoreloop enabled games available in the iPhone App Store include:

-- Aeio ($0.99) is a simple and addictive game that challenges both
memory and rhythm skills. Like the 1980s games Simon Says™ or
Senso™, this application plays sequences, which the player repeats by
tapping the symbols in the correct order and with the same rhythm.
-- Submarine ($1.99) is an action packed, side scrolling, under-water
challenge. The player takes controls of a little yellow submarine and has
to navigate it through the ocean waters while avoiding different obstacles
like mines, icebergs, depth charges and whirlpools.
-- Zombie Pub Crawl ($0.99) is a thrilling zombie action shooter that
combines beer, tanks and zombies. Players control a tank to fend off
zombies while guiding their lager-lusting mates from pub to pub.

With Scoreloop enabled games, players instantly see their high score ranking and can challenge anyone including buddies in their address book or on Facebook. They can quickly challenge existing players by tapping their name in the high score list and can also create and accept anonymous challenges from other iPhone players. Scoreloop's comparison algorithm makes sure they play against someone at a similar skill level. If the player performs well, they win medals and Coins that show their skills to opponents.

Scoreloop Developer Kudos

"Scoreloop is an awesome enhancement for any game," said Michael Zimmermann, creator of Aeio.

"With so many iPhone games in the market today, one of the biggest issues is game discovery. Scoreloop's challenges feature helps virally spread the word about our game," said Gary Toste of Brisk Mobile, creators of Submarine.

"We definitely will be integrating Scoreloop into all of our games," exclaims Bruce Johnson of Orange Crane Games, creators of Zombie Pub Crawl.

"We're thrilled by the market response to Scoreloop. We've created the new standard for player challenges on the iPhone," said Scoreloop's CEO, Marc Gumpinger. "Game developers continue to adopt our advanced mobile social gaming technology. They love our unique challenges feature since it virally spreads their games among players' friends. Scoreloop helps game developers increase popularity and game sales."
