ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - February 22, 2011) - From a rain barrel monster, flying ship, and the Eiffel Tower to a concert scene, bar fly and a day at the park, there are more than 50 sculptures to vote for in the Scotch Off the Roll Tape Sculpture Contest, sponsored by 3M. The contest invites creative geniuses and novices alike to submit photos of their unique tape sculptures -- constructed from Scotch Packaging Tape -- for the chance to win a $5,000 cash prize. The deadline to submit a tape sculpture or vote for your favorite entry is February 28, 2011.

In addition to online voting, submissions will be judged by a panel of noted artists, including pioneer tape sculptor Mark Jenkins, who is most widely known for the street art installations he creates using Scotch Packaging Tape.

Contest details are as follows:

  • Entries should include:
    • Entrant's name, home address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth and e-mail address
  • Entries must be submitted no later than February 28, 2011.
