Scotiabank Place to Host Public Skating During March Break

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 21, 2007) - From March 12 to March 14, Scotiabank Place will host March Break Skating, when Senators fans and skating enthusiasts can lace up their skates on the same ice surface as the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club.

Over the three-day period, there will be 17 different 50-minute skating sessions, starting on the hour: Monday, March 12 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Wednesday, March 14 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

For all of the public skating sessions, children 10 years of age and under are required to wear a helmet. Skates must be worn on the ice at all times, while hockey sticks and pucks will not be permitted. Tickets cost $5 per person for this event (plus applicable taxes and surcharges). Children 2 years and under are free. Tickets can be purchased beginning Friday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. Parking is free for participants.
