Scotiabank Place to Host The Ultimate '80S Night on Saturday

Great prizes, video games and dancing highlight retro night

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 11, 2006) - Scotiabank Place will host The Ultimate '80s Night this Saturday, Oct. 14, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets for the event are on sale now

The first 100 persons who come dressed in '80s clothing will receive a copy of Rockit 100, the '80s rock 'n' roll trivia game, while the two best dressed party goers will each win a pair of 100 level Senators tickets to a future hockey game.

At 10 p.m., nine members of the Canadian Floor Masters breakdancing group will showcase their amazing dance moves for the crowd to the music provided by Quality Entertainment.

The retro music and dancing will turn back the clock, as Scotiabank Place becomes Ottawa's largest '80s dance floor. In addition to the moonwalking and breakdancing, games such as Ms. Pac-man, Galaga and Centipede will stream back 80's memories like acid-washed jeans, rock band t-shirts and neon bracelets.
