Scott Hogg and Associates to Interpret Amseco's Barry-Urban Project Airborne Mag Survey

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 6, 2010) - Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AEL) ("Amseco") is pleased to announce that the airborne MAG geophysical survey it commissioned to cover its Urban-Barry project has been completed .

The survey extended over 5,037 line kilometers flown at 100 meter spacing between survey lines and with control lines at 500 m intervals. The average survey altitude was 80 meters using a Geometrics G822 sensor. The contract was done by GeoData Solutions GDS Inc. of Laval, QC.

Amseco has now commissioned Scott Hogg & Associates Ltd. ("SHA") of Toronto, ON, to interpret the data. The initial focus of the interpretation will be to identify lineaments and structures that may relate to gold mineralization. It also could lead to the identification of possible sulphide mineralization.

Using SHA's SI-GRID process high resolution 20 m. grids will be generated from the collected data. Map enhancements including a pole reduced vertical magnetic gradient,to enhance shallow sources and resolve closely spaced anomalies. as well as apparent magnetic susceptibility to help identify the different geological lithologies. SHA will also integrate existing airborne EM channel data to map the profile response and calculate approximate time constant information along line. This will add conductivity information that may have a bearing on both gold and sulphide mineralization.

Where available existing geological mapping and known gold mineralization will be integrated in an effort to study the correlation between showings or deposits and geophysical attributes.

The purpose of this interpretation will be to direct a more focused summer gold exploration program. All of Amseco's claims, or the claims over which it holds an option to purchase an interest, will now be known as Amseco's Barry-Urban Project.

Amseco has also recently received data from a ground based MAG survey done over some of its claims in the southern portion of the Barry-Urban project. Where needed this data will be integrated into the Airborne survey interpretation. Separately, the Corporation also received the data from a small ground based MAG survey done over a portion of its Lac Rocher property. This data will eventually be sent out for interpretation.
