Scout Analytics Launches Scout Link for Sales on Salesforce.com's AppExchange, the World's Most Popular Marketplace for Business Apps

Service Providers Can Now Leverage Data-Driven Selling to Increase Lifetime Value of Customers

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Aug 29, 2012) -   Scout Analytics™, the leader in recurring revenue optimization, today announced the launch of Scout® Link for Sales on salesforce.com's AppExchange, the app marketplace for the social enterprise. Scout Link for Sales enables data-driven selling with predictive pricing for renewals, customer retention monitoring and rating of online trials.

Scout Link for Sales is immediately available for test drive and deployment on the AppExchange at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange/.

"For any service provider, profits are directly tied to the lifetime value of the customer," said Matt Shanahan, Senior Vice President of Strategy for Scout Analytics. "Unfortunately, existing business intelligence solutions for CRM do not provide any optics into a customer's use of a service. Scout Link enriches Salesforce with customer analytics and segmentation to guide conversions and renewals that increase customer lifetime value by 10 to 15 percent."

"Scout Link for Sales is an example of how our platform and AppExchange marketplace deliver innovative apps to help companies put their customers at the heart of their business," said Mike Rosenbaum, senior vice president, AppExchange and Force.com Operations, salesforce.com. "Customers look to our partners to help them extend the value of Salesforce to accelerate their social enterprise transformation and achieve business success."

Product Key Features
Scout Link for Sales enables data-driven selling through patent-pending customer analysis and segmentation. Scout Link features include:

  • License Analysis, which enables data-driven closing strategies as each license eligible for renewal is segmented based on opportunity, such as up-sell, cross-sell or at-risk.
  • Demand Map™, which provides analytics that predict a range of renewal prices that are matched to customers' use of the service.
  • Demand Rating™, which enables sales representatives to focus on the right trials by comparing the engagement patterns of trial subscribers with paid subscribers, easily identifying trials most likely to convert.
  • Organization Summary, which enables early detection of at-risk customers by providing a snapshot of customer usage, including trends such as a drop in demand or lack of adoption.
