SCP SCIENCE to Enhance Productivity Thanks to Funding from the Government of Canada

BAIE-D'URFÉ, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 1, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the enterprise SCP SCIENCE has been awarded financial assistance to enable it to improve its productivity and its ranking for its manufacturing processes.

"The Government of Canada is committed to supporting enterprises that, like SCP SCIENCE, are doing everything they can to improve their competitiveness and, in so doing, are helping to strengthen the leading-edge expertise developed in their regions," said Minister Lebel.

To pursue its growth, SCP SCIENCE needs to acquire equipment that will enable it to increase its production capabilities, which will translate into greater sales. SCP SCIENCE will thus be able to position itself solidly to take advantage of emerging market demand and maintain its standing as a leader in the manufacture of analytical equipment.
