Screening for Mental Health and Timberline Knolls Offer Free Webinar on the Power and Science of Hope, September 30, 1 P.M. CST

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - September 16, 2015) - The field of positive psychology has shown hope to be a critical key to achieving and maintaining health, wellness and a meaningful existence.

Screening for Mental Health, a national nonprofit that educates, raises awareness and screens individuals for common mental health disorders and suicide, along with Margaret Nagib, PsyD., licensed clinical psychologist and faculty leader at Timberline Knolls, a leading residential treatment center located in the Chicago area, are teaming up to offer a free webinar to the public and mental health clinicians on the topic of "The Power and Science of Hope." The webinar will take place Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. Central/2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific.

During this presentation Dr. Nagib will discuss the latest in hope research and a new paradigm for psychotherapeutic intervention that focuses on teaching clients how to hope instead of just how to cope which has been the primary goal of more traditional psychotherapy in the past.
