Scribe Reports Best Quarter in Company History

Balanced Growth Driven by Demand in Enterprise, Small & Midsized Business, Global Markets and Recurring Services Revenue

MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2011) - Scribe, a global data integration provider, announced that in the second quarter, ending June 30th, the company recorded its highest bookings to date. Growth over the same quarter last year was 21 percent, driven by demand balanced between enterprise, small & midsized business (SMB), and global markets, as well as recurring revenue from services. Second quarter over first quarter 2011 growth was 29 percent.

"To understand Scribe's momentum, look at it in the context of industry trends," said Carson Biederman, managing partner of The Mustang Group and Scribe board member. "The explosion in data platforms, requiring the integration of public and private cloud and on-premise data found in enterprise applications and business systems, combined with demand for business process integration is creating an increasingly complex IT environment. Scribe has designed its integration platform and services to enable IT teams, ISVs, and SIs to collaborate effectively to meet this challenge."

"One of the challenges of the hybrid IT environment is dealing with big data and cloud-to-cloud integration," said Lou Guercia, president and CEO of Scribe. "While this seems like a new concept for many integration vendors, we have a long history of providing solutions that integrate large quantities of data. Now, we're just taking that expertise into the cloud. It's all part of Scribe's consistent dedication to supporting VARs and SIs in their integration efforts, regardless of platform. From the beginning, the design architecture of Scribe Online was intended for big data environments based on thousands of Scribe customers who move massive amounts of data on premise -- and now in the cloud -- every day."

The first and only data integration provider for Windows Azure ISVs

One new partner, MetraTech, the leading provider of agreements-based billing and compensation solutions, and Scribe are collaborating to connect the Metanga cloud billing application to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other business applications. This technology partnership delivers faster time to revenue at a fraction of the cost of traditional integration solutions for independent software vendors (ISVs) that create and support cloud-based services.

"Today, no application is standalone, especially in the cloud," said Scott Swartz, founder and CEO of MetraTech. "The billing system is the center of knowledge for financial relationships and for providing that information to other systems, which lets ISVs better manage and service their customers. We selected Scribe because we wanted a partner that could deliver world-class integration in the Windows Azure environment in the most efficient and effective manner possible for our ISV customers."

According to Betsy Bilhorn, vice president of marketing and product management at Scribe, "We're excited about the opportunity to work with ISVs going into the cloud with Windows Azure. Scribe is in an excellent position to accelerate its growth while contributing to the development and expansion of the Windows Azure cloud ecosystem."
