Scripted.com Strengthens Management Team With Two Key Hires

San Francisco-Based Expert Content Marketplace Adds Marketo Co-Founder Jon Miller to Board, Matt Cameron, Former Yammer Corporate Sales Director as VP of Sales

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2013) - Scripted.com, the leading provider of expert written content on demand, today announced the appointment of Jon Miller, Marketo co-founder, as its independent Director. Additionally, Scripted added Matt Cameron, former Sr. Director of Corporate Sales at Yammer, as its Vice President of Sales. Now with thousands of customers and a curated user-base of expert writers, Miller and Cameron share in maintaining Scripted's reputation for high-quality while managing the company's tremendous organic growth.

Miller (@jonmiller) is Vice President of Marketing and co-founder at Marketo. He is the author of The Definitive Guides to Marketing Automation, Engaging Email Marketing, and Marketing Metrics & ROI. Miller is also on the Board of Directors for Scripted and is an advisor to Optimizely and NewsCred. In 2010, The CMO Institute named Miller a Top 10 CMO for companies with less than $250 million revenue. Miller holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard University and has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Cameron joins Scripted as Vice President of Sales after serving as Worldwide Director for Corporate Sales & Sales Development at Yammer. Prior to Yammer, Cameron was the Australaian Director of Enterprise Sales for Salesforce.com and helped scale the region from six employees to 100 within five years. Cameron has a passion for the process of selling and served on the Salesforce.com international sales council, responsible for establishing best practice.
