ScriptLogic Corporation Introduces New Incentives for Channel Partners as Part of Expanding Program

Company Opens New Office in Tampa, Florida to Assist Channel Partners in Defining Desktop and Server Management Solutions for Potential Customers

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 29, 2007 -- Citrix Summit -- ScriptLogic® Corporation (, a leader in network administration software for Microsoft® Windows®-based networks, today announced new channel program incentives and initiatives intended to make it even easier for ScriptLogic channel partners to market and sell the company's desktop and server management solutions to enterprise companies. ScriptLogic recently opened a new office in Tampa, Fla. to host a sales center that will support elements of the program. As a result, ScriptLogic is renewing its commitment to existing and potential channel partners who can build on the company's award-winning products to offer solutions that save IT administrators' time, as well as making IT systems more secure and assisting with regulatory compliance.

"Our channel partners realize that they can easily incorporate ScriptLogic products into their solutions and services to help enterprises conquer complicated IT management challenges," said Jim Tedesco, senior vice president of worldwide sales at ScriptLogic. "With our enhanced program, ScriptLogic is assisting partners by finding new opportunities at new and existing customers. As an example, we will qualify leads and leave it to our partners to mold a solution that's right for the customers. Under the revised channel program, ScriptLogic will identify partners according to one of three levels: silver, gold and platinum, with a higher level indicating a greater commitment from the partner to the program, and from ScriptLogic to the partner. In general, the benefits break down as follows:

--  Silver: Partners receive discounted pricing and online marketing
    resource support from ScriptLogic.
--  Gold: Partners receive pre-sales support and a shared channel support
    resource from ScriptLogic, as well as deal registration benefits. Partners
    need to certify a percentage of sales engineers through ScriptLogic
--  Platinum: Partners receive dedicated channel and marketing resources
    from ScriptLogic, including participation in marketing events, as well as
    marketing development funds and more significant deal registration
    benefits. The deal registration program provides additional compensation on
    partner-led transactions, paying the partner a significant percentage of
    the solution list price as long as the transaction closes in an agreed-to
    timeframe -- and regardless if the transaction is closed by the partner of
    record or another partner.

ScriptLogic also provides platinum partners with the benefit of sales personnel in its new Tampa office. ScriptLogic employees will call on potential sales leads provided by the partners to do an initial screening of each opportunity. Leads are then turned back to the partner as registered, meaning partners receive a monetary benefit from any resulting sale. Also, any leads generated independently by the call center are passed on to platinum partners as new incremental leads and could be registered if they become partner led transactions.
