SDL Powers Global Translational Services for Husqvarna

World's Largest Producer of Outdoor Power Products Selects SDL in Global Strategic Sourcing Program

MAIDENHEAD, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - May 13, 2013) - SDL (LSE:SDL) has today announced that Husqvarna Group (SS:HUSQB), the world's largest producer of outdoor power products, has chosen SDL to support its strategy for global translational services.

Chosen as part of a global strategic sourcing program covering all major business areas and geographies, the SDL solution will allow Husqvarna to communicate with its global customers in over 35 languages, empowering it to increase customer engagement, competitive advantage and international sales support. The solution will initially cover translation of technical publications, such as Operator's Manuals and Service Bulletins, and the aim is to reduce time and cost as well as improving the quality and consistency of information published around the world.

The solution has been designed to bring consistency to information published by Husqvarna Group's distributed authoring centers based in Sweden, Germany, Asia and America, as well as its international and local marketing organizations.
