Seacliff Group Grows Oil & Gas Services Capability Through Investment and Partnership With Alberta Equipment Manufacturer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA and RED DEER, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Nov. 4, 2014) - A partnership and equity investment to expand operations in the North American energy sector was announced today by Vancouver-based Seacliff Group and Red Deer-based Fusion Production Systems. This is the third such partnership arrangement for Seacliff which sees great potential in this sector.

According to Fusion president Dean Simpson, "We have achieved strong growth in the past few years and new investment from Seacliff will help us enhance our customer services, expand our product line of multi-phase separators and flow back equipment, and will capitalize on opportunities in the oil and gas sector. Our equipment has been well received by the market and we look forward to developing more solutions for our customers."

Dean Simpson will continue to lead the company as president, and the existing Fusion team is expected to remain in place.

"Fusion has demonstrated itself to be a leading provider of equipment for the oil and gas production, testing and separation equipment market, and we are very pleased to partner with Dean to help with their growth," said Stephen Curran, managing director, Seacliff Private Equity.

Seacliff Group's private equity division invests in and partners with established private companies having strong market positions and growth potential. In 2013, Seacliff acquired Arctic Arrow Powerline Group, a BC-based power line distribution and transmission contractor, and earlier this year, signed a partnership agreement with IPAC Services Ltd, a construction, maintenance and logistical services provider based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Previous notable businesses have included Dominion Construction, Canem Systems and Saskatchewan-based Broda Construction.

Fusion Production Systems Inc. is an integrated fabrication and design provider for oil and gas process equipment. Based in Red Deer, Alberta, the company offers a full service approach which integrates design, fabrication, production, repair and maintenance services to provide clients with a single source solution. One of Fusion's signature services is the production of portable separation equipment widely used by some of the industry's leading production testing and flow back service providers.

The Seacliff Group is a Vancouver based, privately-owned group of companies with extensive experience in the construction, powerline and oil and gas services and real estate sectors. Established in 1988, Seacliff was previously the major shareholder of publicly traded Seacliff Construction Corp. Seacliff's private equity division is developing a portfolio of businesses in the infrastructure and industrial service sectors.
