Seair's Technology is the Solution to A Major Municipal Water Problem

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 18, 2014) -

Seair Inc. ("Seair" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:SDS) is pleased to announce that they are teaming up with one of the world's largest suppliers of industrial gases to address an immediate odour issue at a large waste facility in Quebec.

Seair was contacted by a European multinational after alternative solutions had failed. The multinational felt that Seair's diffusion tower technology was the best solution to address the constraints of cost, time and dependability. Seair has deployed its towers in the field for the past 7 years without breakdown and only minor maintenance. Seair's unique patented diffusion technology rapidly and cost effectively dissolves large volumes of oxygen in solution, affecting the desired change in the biology in the shortest period of time.

Jeff Seibert, CEO of Seair, commented further, "Oxygenation of waste lagoons and aeration of biological waste processes is a perfect fit for our technology and this industrial/municipal application represents another multi-billion dollar market for Seair. We're happy to deliver further progress on the strategic plan we laid out at our AGM. Seair's CTO, Kyle Greene, is onsite with a diffusion tower and we look forward to providing a progress report, which we believe will be positive, later this summer."

Seair Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SDS) is a Calgary based cleantech company. Seair has commercialized proprietary technology that can diffuse gases, such as oxygen, ozone and carbon dioxide, into liquids more effectively and with lower power consumption than the competition. Seair's patented technologies can produce micron size bubbles that are more efficient than other diffusion technologies because the diffused gases remain in solution for extended periods of time, leading to increased productivity and lower operating costs. Seair has been working with customers in the Oil and Gas industry for over five years.

Seair applications include oil sands SAGD water solutions, frac and produced water treatment, industrial ponds treatment, mine dewatering/treatment, end-to-end sewage treatment for permanent residential communities and remote work camps, golf course irrigation and pond treatment and most recently, industrial emissions treatment.
