Starting at 11:00 AM EDT on Saturday, couples will meet at City Hall Plaza to begin their trek. Using their mobile phones, couples will receive a series of location-based clues, prompting them to complete a series of fun and simple challenges from their phone throughout the city of Boston.

Local couples are strongly encouraged to sign-up immediately to participate in Saturday's event and can submit their love stories at for a chance to secure their spot in the Diamond Dash. Sign-ups are open until 11:59 PM EDT on Friday, October 15th.

Immediately following the Diamond Dash, couples will gather for an after-event party hosted by Ned Devine's. One lucky couple will then be presented with the $20,000 RITANI diamond ring.

"All you need is a love story and a mobile phone to get in on the action," said Nick Pirie, SCVNGR Executive Rockstar. "We want to see couples running, peddling, doing whatever it takes to complete challenges and earn points to get them closer to owning the diamond bling."
