Search Optics® Launches Woodward Dream Cruise 'Share for a Cause' Fundraiser to Benefit Detroit-Area School Projects

Digital Marketing Solutions Leader Gives Back to Community Schools by Spearheading Social Media-Powered Fundraising Campaign

Timed with the 20th anniversary of Detroit's annual Woodward Dream Cruise, the social media-powered campaign represents a passionate community commitment for the more than 100 employees operating out of Search Optics' Ferndale, MI. location.

All Woodward Dream Cruise attendees can participate in Share for a Cause by having their photo taken in a show car on Saturday, August 16 in front of the upscale John D Bistro and Bar on Woodward Avenue in Ferndale. Participants will then receive an immediate email or text message with a link to their photo. From there, they will be asked to share the photo on their Facebook timeline and encourage family and friends to share that photo as well. Search Optics will also be uploading all the pictures taken at the event to a gallery on the Search Optics Facebook page.

For each share that the photos receive on Facebook between August 16 and August 23, Search Optics will donate $1 to Detroit-area school projects listed on an online charity platform, with up to $10,000 in donations possible from the company.
