Second Shelter, Second Chances

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 28, 2012) - Thanks to the philanthropic efforts of Vivian Risi, the Yellow Brick House, a haven for abused women and children, was able to open its much-needed second shelter in Markham this past February.

Yellow Brick House honoured Risi, who helped raise $4 million for the project, by naming the main floor after her. But Risi's greatest reward is the knowledge that those in need now have shelter from abuse.
