Secure Infrastructure & Services (SIAS) and Aerobyte Join Forces to Offer Secure Cloud Infrastructure at Cloud Computing Expo

Highlights Include Presentation on "Taking the Mystery Out of the Cloud" and the Launch of a "Capture the Digital Flag" Contest

MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 9, 2015) - Secure Infrastructure & Services (SIAS), a managed services provider to businesses using or considering moving to a cloud-based model, and Aerobyte, a secure cloud solution provider, today announced that they have formed a partnership to offer organizations a virtually secured cloud network. By leveraging the SIAS private cloud infrastructure for Power Systems, i5OS, AIX, and Linux environments on Aerobyte's Security Architecture Framework (SAFe), organizations gain the confidence to safely move their critical applications to the cloud while saving up to 50 percent of their network security budget.

SIAS and Aerobyte will be exhibiting together in booth #227 at the Cloud Computing Expo on June 9-11 at the Javits Center in New York City. At the Cloud Expo, Chuck Paolillo, chief technology officer at SIAS and Brad Askew, the company's director of Worldwide Channels, will be presenting on "Taking the Mystery Out of the Cloud", specifically focused on the benefits of IBM Power Systems in the Cloud, on Wednesday, June 10 at 4:50 p.m. on Track 1.

"Aerobyte is a logical partner for us," said Hal Schwartz, CEO of SIAS. "Their solutions are a perfect fit to protect our clients' infrastructures from any potential vulnerabilities. Together, we are able to offer organizations a powerful cloud-based computing environment that enables them to easily move their workloads to the cloud while at the same time enabling them to sleep at night knowing their infrastructure is secure."

In addition to demonstrating its robust security architecture in the SIAS booth, Aerobyte will also be launching its "Capture the Digital Flag" contest to prove how secure the SIAS infrastructure is with the Aerobyte secure cloud architecture.

"We're so sure about our secure architecture, we are opening up our VPN during the Cloud Expo to allow individuals to try to hack into it," said Howard Hellman, Aerobyte's founder. "Security is a huge factor for cloud computing. Organizations are running multi-million or even billion dollar applications on their Power Systems and can't risk intrusions. By adding our security layer to the SIAS cloud infrastructure, IT managers can be assured their data, applications and systems are fully protected."
