SecureAlert, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of RemoteMDx, Announces Contracts in the State of Tennessee

SANDY, UT--(Marketwire - November 12, 2007) - RemoteMDx, Inc. (OTCBB: RMDX) subsidiary SecureAlert today announced that Rutherford and Sumner Counties in the State of Tennessee, and as reported by them on October 1, 2007, commenced a new program utilizing SecureAlert's product and service to be used in place of jail time for minor offenders, such as runaways and those involved in drug cases. "The benefit [of the TrackerPAL service] is that it offers another set of eyes and ears to watch our juveniles," said Keith Siskin, Juvenile Court referee and as quoted in the Middle Tennessee State University Paper on October 1, 2007. "The TrackerPALs are a good tool to keep both the community and juveniles safer."

SecureAlert estimates that these programs for juveniles within the entire state of Tennessee could grow to be in excess of several thousand offenders being monitored by the TrackerPAL services.

SecureAlert offers a unique combination of a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week monitoring center, coupled with proprietary and patented technology that locates offenders wherever they may be and tracks and responds to violations of predetermined geo-zones, two- and three-way voice communications, and application-specific software, all packaged in one compact, tamper-resistant device with a 95 decibel alarm worn by the offender. SecureAlert offers to agencies a turnkey service including equipment, real-time monitoring and training. The responsible enforcement agency is able to direct SecureAlert's monitoring center to establish parameters of movement by offenders or known predators and any breach in the pre-established rules by each offender triggers an alarm. At any time, day or night, professionally trained agents of SecureAlert, Inc. are able to communicate in real time with the offender through the device's built-in interactions capability. Additionally, agents are able to summon police if necessary.

Since January of 2007 over 250 law enforcement agencies throughout the United States have contracted with SecureAlert for its product and services. Currently SecureAlert has in excess of 10,000 units that have either been sold or are revenue producing pursuant to its monitoring service.
