SecureAuth Corporation, the leader in adaptive access control, announced today the launch of its IDPet Protection service with Paw-thentication, which is aimed at protecting and detecting businesses and personal cat-nip from unwanted intruders.

It's long been known that the standard name tag and password is a flawed method of authentication when used alone, providing a gateway for malware, fishing attacks and unwanted pests. SecureAuth Paw-thentication is a furrward-thinking method you can add for improved access control using behavioral biometrics. It continuously collects information about how the furry user interacts with a device including pawstroke and mouse movement to create a unique behavioral biometric user template on each pet device, allowing the good pet to roam.

"All pets have individual behavior, and this technology matches this behavior to a baseline to either allow access to the pet, or deny the pest," said Craig Lund, CEO of SecureAuth. "We anticipate high adoption of this technology and we are working on 2.0, which will include food protection and treat detection."

SecureAuth Paw-thentication is available to download on all pet devices right meow.
