Security Pacific Bank Names Michael J. Winiarski Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - November 21, 2007) - Michael J. Winiarski has joined Security Pacific Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, it was announced by Mark Jaques, the Bank's Chief Operating Officer.

Winiarski brings over 25 years of operating and financial management experience in the financial services industry, including his most recent position as Chief Financial Officer of Hanmi Financial Corporation, where he led the bank's accounting, financial planning, investment, investor relations, risk management, treasury, and wealth management functions. He will serve in a similar capacity at Security Pacific Bank.

Earlier in his career, Winiarski held senior positions with IndyMac Bank, FSB, and Home Savings of America. He began his career at the international accounting firm Deloitte & Touche.

Winiarski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and has held leadership positions in the Western League of Savings Institutions and the California Bankers Association.
