Emphasizes Customer Support, Range of Services, and Global Presence

The new brand is designed to better reflect the global presence and broad range of services USIS provides its customers to protect critical assets, evaluate information, and identify and mitigate risk. USIS has more than 6,800 employees supporting business operations in all 50 states and overseas.

The new tagline for the brand -- Ensuring a Safer Future Today -- summarizes USIS's commitment to partner with its customers in helping them make safe and intelligent business, hiring, personnel, and security decisions by:

--  Developing and employing secure yet flexible technology designed to
    inferface with the customer's business systems. This not only assures
    timely pass-through of information, but also generates greater efficiencies
    in the decision-making process.
--  Providing business intelligence and risk management solutions,
    background investigations, and drug-screening services. Background
    information on prospective hires and employment updates -- such as criminal
    records, credit history, driving records, and verifications of previous
    employment -- assists USIS customers in hiring qualified candidates and

    more than two million screenings in 2005.
