Seeking Medical Device or MDDS Funding? Apply Now for SEMDA 2013


ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Oct 22, 2012) -  Medical device and medical device data system (MDDS) companies seeking funding are invited to apply to present at the Southeastern Medical Device Association's (SEMDA) 7th annual conference to be held February 19-20, 2013, at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center.

Applications are now available at www.semda.net/conference and are due January 9, 2013. There is no charge to apply, and the cost is just $750 for selected companies, which includes two conference admissions. Each accepted company will have a mentoring team of industry experts that includes an investor and a CEO, plus experts in legal, commercialization and finance.

A new addition to this year's program is the "Presenting Company SpotLight" award. The winner will be chosen by an independent panel of judges and announced at the end of the conference.

Selected companies will present to seed investors, angel investors, venture capitalists, private equity and corporations specifically focused on medical device investment and new technology acquisition. The 2013 conference will also feature informative programs, 1:1 partnering, a Gala Dinner and opportunities for attendees to make meaningful industry connections.
