Seeyond™ Introduces "Thought Starters" at NeoCon 2012

Fully Customizable Design Concepts Make Creating Interior Features Even Easier for Designers; New Material Options Also Expand the Range of Seeyond Offerings

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Apr 2, 2012) - Following its award-winning launch at NeoCon 2011, Seeyond™ Architectural Solutions is arriving at NeoCon 2012 with a new library of fully customizable "Thought Starter" concepts.

Seeyond "Thought Starters" offer commercial designers and architects a starting point for interior features -- while retaining the full custom capability that is the hallmark of the Seeyond design-build solution.

"As we worked with designers and architects in the year after our launch, we realized how valuable it would be to offer a timesaving head start for new projects," said Nat Porter, general manager of Seeyond Architectural Solutions. "Clients value the capacity to create a fully customized feature, but many prefer to begin with an existing concept -- say, a curved wall or a column.

"Now we can offer designers the basic form and structure of a feature, allowing them to use it as a platform for their creativity. We've made it easy to jump-start the design process while retaining the full range of creative options and the ease of a turnkey, single-source solution from concept to installation."

Seeyond will offer 15 "Thought Starters" in five feature types: walls, facings, columns, enclosures and clouds.

Seeyond is also adding two new material options to its architectural features at NeoCon 2012: Solid Resin, a durable, easily fabricated, recyclable thermoplastic polyester; and Metallic Composite, an aluminum composite material composed of two thin sheets of aluminum sandwiching a polyethylene core. They join the original Seeyond offering of Cellular Resin, a versatile, lightweight and resilient recyclable plastic. All the materials meet the standard for Class A fire rating.

No other system for creating interior design features can do what Seeyond does so easily and precisely. Seeyond allows designers to create unique features with a three-dimensional computer modeling application; fabricates each one-of-a-kind feature from flat stock; then professionally installs the completed feature with a precise timeline and cost certainty. Elegant, powerful and efficient, Seeyond is infinitely customizable, yet provides a turnkey solution from supporting the design vision through final installation.

Seeyond modules combine with no tools or visible hardware to create a self-structuring system. A variety of options for custom color, lensing patterns, printed graphics, material appliqué and internal lighting allows for even greater design freedom.

"Seeyond is the first parametric design-build solution that allows designers to make incredibly complex forms simply -- and fast," Porter said.
