SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 19, 2013) - Seismic, the only platform that enables LiveDoc creation for brand-approved, real-time enterprise content management, has announced the findings of its first-annual Seismic Salesforce Spotlight survey. The survey, conducted during Dreamforce 2013, found new insights into how, why and when sales teams use Salesforce on their tablets -- and what they expect for the future. Complete survey findings are summarized in a report now available here [http://info.seismic.com/dreamforce-survey-report]
Key findings include:
- More than 70% of Salesforce users spend 1-5 hrs per day on their tablet
- Tablets have become the primary computer for almost 1 in 4 people
- Only 1 in 3 respondents use their tablet for CRM
- 70% of respondents believe that mobile technology, such as business apps, will dramatically improve their lives in 2014
"Our survey findings validate the growing importance of tablets in the enterprise," said Doug Winter, Seismic CEO. "Salespeople need mobile applications that are easy to use and fit the needs of their job -- including facilitating better presentations and providing easier access to existing CRM information. As apps continue to be developed with the enterprise in mind, we'll see more companies using tablets to gain an edge against their competition."
