Seismic Survey Reveals Salesforce1 Roll-Outs Slower Than Expected but Gaining Steam

Data Also Reveals as Enterprise Mobility Continues to Rise so Does the Fear of More Complicated Work Lives

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2014) - Seismic, the leading sales enablement solution, today announced the findings of its annual Seismic Salesforce Spotlight survey. The survey, conducted during Dreamforce 2014, discovered new insights into how business users are using Salesforce on their mobile devices and the implementation process of Salesforce1, and what to expect for the future. Key findings include:

  • Although 52 percent of respondents said their company did or will implement Salesforce1 within 2014, 21 percent have no plans to implement the platform.
  • In 2013, 7 percent of Dreamforce users foresaw mobile technology complicating their work life, but this year's findings show nearly 20 percent feel that mobile technology complicated their work lives in the past year.
  • More than 60 percent of respondents use their tablet more frequently than their smartphone for CRM, content management and presentations.
