Self Magazine Utilizes Snipp's Mobile Contest Platform to Power Its "Prize Bonanza" Magazine Sweepstakes for the Third Year in a Row

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct. 23, 2013) - Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE:SPN), announced today that it is powering Self Magazine's "Prize Bonanza" sweepstakes in its current November issue. This is the third year in a row that Self Magazine's annual prize giveaway is being powered by SnippWin, Snipp's unique mobile contest platform.

Readers of Self's November issue will be able to choose from 100 different sweepstakes in which 537 separate gifts will be given away, including prizes from Zac Posen, Motorola, Lia Sophia, and a trip for two to Puerto Rico. Readers can enter up to five different sweepstakes in the program which launched on October 16, 2013 and lasts until December 2, 2013.

To enter the program, readers need to download the Self Plus app (available at all major app stores) and hold it over the pages with the Self Plus logo to access the mobile contest site, through which they can register for the sweepstakes and choose the ones they wish to enter. Prizes are across five categories: Beauty, Fashion, Fitness, Lifestyle, and Nutrition. No purchase is necessary to participate.

Snipp's SnippWin platform was utilized to create the entire mobile sweepstakes site and incorporate all the various program business rules, including enabling readers to register, view and edit the various contests they could enter.
