Self-Select Program Begins at Oakland International Airport

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - TSA will announce the beginning of the Self-Select Program at Oakland International Airport (OAK).

Self-Select Lanes are comprised of a series of lanes designated by signage that directs passengers based on their travel needs and knowledge -- Expert, for the business traveler who flies several times a month; Casual, for passengers that travel less frequently, but are familiar with the security process; and Family/Special Assistance, for passengers traveling with small children or strollers, elderly passengers and passengers who may need special assistance.

WHERE:  Oakland International Airport - Terminal 2 Security Checkpoint

Parking -- Satellite trucks may park in the *live* media parking area next to Terminal 2 baggage claim building. All others may park in the Hourly parking lot located across from the terminals. Bring parking stub with you for validation.
