"Sell Like a Girl" Book Launch

Perfect Girl's Night Out at Tatnuck Bookseller; Local Author Shares Her Sales Savvy With Girls of All Ages

NORTH GRAFTON, MA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2008) - Local author, Jeanne Worrick, will be signing her first sales book, "Sell Like a Girl" at the Tatnuck Bookseller, Westborough located in The Westborough Shopping Plaza on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Jeanne's 20 years of sales experience in the very male-dominated petroleum industry, has given her a unique opportunity to train under, and work with predominantly men whose selling styles often clashed with her own way of approaching sales. After trying to learn the "male" way to sell, she decided that she would find her own style, which, incidentally, would also bring her much success. The most surprising discovery was that she already knew instinctively how to sell. It was years later that she decided to share what she had learned from her experiences by compiling it into a sales book.

Everyone Is in Sales

Part memoir, part motivational tool, "Sell Like a Girl," was written with all women in mind. "We are all in sales, no matter what our job title is," Jeanne asserts. "And that goes double for stay-at-home moms who must sell ideas to their children every day." "Sell Like a Girl" is the first in a series of short, easy-to-read books written for women looking for validation of their approach to challenges in their lives.
