Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards Seeking Best Sales Professionals, Teams and Departments

Worldwide Call for Entries Issued - September 28 Entry Deadline

FAIRFAX, VA--(Marketwire - July 11, 2007) - Giving sales professionals the opportunity to get recognition for the results they achieve for their customers and their companies, the second annual Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards issued a call for entries today.

The awards are presented by Selling Power magazine and The Stevie® Awards, producer of The American Business Awards, which has been hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" (New York Post, April 27, 2005).

Entry kits for The Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards may be requested at The entry deadline is September 28. Late entries will be accepted through November 1 with a late fee.

All for-profit and non-profit organizations worldwide are eligible to submit entries in more than 50 categories ranging from Best Global Sales Leader to Best Software Sales Organization. For a full list of categories visit:

The Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards will be presented at a gala banquet at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on December 6. Winners will be honored in a 2008 issue of Selling Power magazine, profiled on, and automatically entered in next year's American Business Awards or International Business Awards.

Among the 55 Selling Power Sales Excellence Award winners in 2006 were, Fusion Sales Partners, Heartland Payment Systems, Marriott International, and WebEx Communications.
