SEMAFO Provides Notice of First Quarter 2013 Results Release and Conference Call

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 7, 2013) - SEMAFO Inc. (TSX:SMF)(OMX:SMF) today announced that the Corporation's 2013 first quarter results will be released on Monday, May 13, 2013. The financial statements will be available on the Corporation's website at www.semafo.com or at www.sedar.com.

SEMAFO's senior management will host a conference call to discuss the first quarter financial and operational results, as well as to provide an update on the Corporation's activities.
