Semaphore Announces Extended Temperature Range for T-BOX LT RTU

LAKE MARY, FL--(Marketwire - Feb 22, 2012) - Semaphore, a CSE Global company, announces that the T-BOX LT RTU product line for remote monitoring and SCADA system applications has passed operations testing at -40 degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius. The extended temperature range furthers T-BOX LT applications in outdoor installations.

T-BOX LT is a very compact, rugged platform with up to 32 I/O points. Integral communications include Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 two-wire, and a choice of PSTN modem, GSM/GPRS modem, GSM 3G modem, spread spectrum radio, or RS-232 with full modem control.

T-BOX employs an innovative, decentralized architecture that enables the complete integration of programmable automation, alarm management, data logging, and IP telemetry in a single package. Simple yet powerful platforms leverage web technologies and push messaging via e-mail, SMS text, and FTP. T-BOX systems are easy to configure and offer dramatically reduced costs versus traditional PLC and SCADA architectures.

Semaphore's RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control applications in the asset management, broadcast / telecom, oil & gas, power, transportation and water / wastewater industries.
