Semphonic Announces X Change Web Analytics Challenge to Benefit Non-Profits

NOVATO, CA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - Semphonic, the world's largest independent Web analytics consultancy, announced today the first annual X Change Web Analytics Challenge to Benefit Non-Profits to be held in conjunction with the X Change 2011 Web Analytics Conference this September in San Diego, CA.

"At last year's conference, we decided that we'd like to provide a non-profit organization with an analysis of their Web data, to help them take actions that can dramatically improve site design, online marketing and membership campaigns," said Semphonic President and X Change founder Gary Angel. "I like to think of it as kind of like a 'Barn Raising,' bringing together the whole community to do something useful and fun."

X Change 2011 will be held September 12-15 at the Coronado Island Resort & Spa in San Diego, California. The Non-Profit Analysis Challenge will be held on the final day to demonstrate the value that business-goal driven web data analysis offers to the non-profit community.

"We work with a number of non-profit organizations in the Washington, DC area," said Semphonic Vice President of Strategic Analytics Phil Kemelor. "We're looking forward to focusing the analytics power of the conference attendees on helping the Challenge winner meet their goals and mission through Web channel optimization."

Semphonic will select the winning non-profit based on an evaluation of web site goals and current usage of web analytics reports. The winner will receive a complimentary conference registration and stay at the Coronado.
