Senators announce playoff ticket prices for public on-sale on Saturday, April 7

Successful renewal campaign has team within 1,500 season seats of goal

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 5, 2012) - The Ottawa Senators today announced ticket prices for the first-round series of the Stanley Cup playoffs, with tickets going on sale Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m.

Tickets for Games 3, 4 and 6 will be on sale to the general public Saturday, with ticket prices starting at $50 per seat, per game in the first round. There will be a ticket limit of eight per person, per game. Playoff tickets will be available at, 613-599-FANS (3267), 1-877-788-FANS (3267); The Sens Store locations at Carlingwood Mall and Place d'Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, and the Scotiabank Place box office. Fans that have never purchased through are encouraged to create an online account in advance that allows them to purchase tickets faster for Saturday's on-sale.

Season-seat packages for the 2012-13 campaign are currently on sale and provide season-seat owners priority access for 2012 playoff tickets. Senators season-seat owners who have renewed their seats for 2012-13 (in addition to any new season-seat purchasers) can secure playoff tickets for Round 1 at the same cost as their regular-season seats.

Renewals of season seats have been strong and more than 800 new season seats have been purchased since mid-February. The Senators are projecting to have 11,500 season seats committed for next year, before any additional new season seats are sold. The club is now just 1,500 new season seats shy of its goal of 13,000 for the 2012-13 season.

The National Hockey League will confirm Ottawa's playoff opponent and unveil the playoff schedule following the completion of all of Saturday's league games, with the Senators likely to begin post-season play on either Wednesday, April 11, or Thursday, April 12.
