Send Word Now® Chosen as Alerting Provider by Canada's Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire & Emergency Services

Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire & Emergency Services consists of thirteen full-time firefighters, one full-time fire prevention inspector, two full-time Chief Officers and 31 volunteer firefighters. In addition to responding to fire calls, the department's Fire Suppression unit oversees auto extrication and rescue, water rescue, medical and ambulance support, hazardous material response and natural disaster response.

Five neighboring Ontario-based fire departments have joined together with and will share Bradford West Gwillimbury's Send Word Now account. Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services will be the first department to use Send Word Now; the other municipal fire departments will go live with the service in the near future.
