Senior Bank Analyst Rick Weiss Joins Ambassador Financial Group, Inc. as Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations

ALLENTOWN, PA--(Marketwired - May 4, 2015) - Ambassador Financial Group, Inc., a FINRA registered broker-dealer and financial services provider to financial institutions nationwide, is pleased to announce that Rick Weiss joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations, based in the firm's Allentown office.

Ambassador offers a full suite of investor relations services to support the company's growing Capital Markets business.

Selected by Forbes and Starmine in 2010 and 2006, Weiss is recognized as one of the top stock pickers for the thrift and mortgage finance industry. He was also named by the Wall Street Journal as "Best on the Street" in the 2004 Analysts survey. Weiss is regarded as an industry expert and is often quoted in financial media outlets including The Wall Street Transcript, Dow Jones News, American Banker, and SNL Financial.

Weiss was a Director of Banks and Thrifts in the Research Department at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC, and senior bank analyst at Boenning & Scattergood, Inc. He also worked in the Corporate Finance Department at Ryan, Beck, and Co. and started his career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Weiss earned an MBA in Finance and Investments from George Washington University and a BS in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. He holds Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses.
