Sensage and KEYW to Co-Present at SINET 16 Showcase

Security Executives to Host Discussion on Creating Relationships That Change the Game for Customers

REDWOOD SHORES, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - Sensage, Inc., the leading provider of advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and founder of Open Security Intelligence, today announced that Ed Jaehne, Chief Strategy Officer of KEYW, and Joe Gottlieb, leader of KEYW's commercial division, will lead the discussion on "Changing the Game Through Acquisition" at the SINET 16 Conference. The workshop will be an open discussion on creating organizational alliances that deliver increased value and power to the customer.

"The SINET audience is a growing and active community interested in collaboration techniques for developing more meaningful relationships," said Robert Rodriguez, Chairman and Founder of SINET's IT Security Entrepreneurs' Forum. "We are pleased to host Sensage and KEYW and look forward to an informative and interactive discussion that provides attendees with an inside look at the way these companies approached their alliance and subsequent acquisition."

This presentation will occur as part of a SINET Showcase luncheon that is designed to facilitate conversation between attendees, private industry security leaders, federal government agencies and venture capital firms. Sensage and KEYW will discuss how the collision of big data and security led them first to a partnership and ultimately to an acquisition.

"With cybercriminals constantly changing their attack methods, we believe the cybersecurity market needs more than just static, off-the-shelf software," says Ed Jaehne, Chief Strategy Officer of KEYW. "To achieve this we are creating a disruptive offering that combines the best log management solution from Sensage with the cyber superiority delivered by KEYW. The result is a mission-grade service that leverages our customer's security data on premise, with no changes to their infrastructure and provides a new layer of defenses and intelligence in the cloud."

"Many organizations create 'alliances' that are no more than marketing agreements," said Joe Gottlieb, leader of KEYW's commercial division. "The secret to relationships that actually matter is connecting people and solutions dedicated to being more powerful together than alone. This is evidenced by the innovations that Sensage and KEYW are bringing to the market."
