Sensay Wins Wavemaker Award at Siemer Summit and TechWeek LA 100 Award

Sensay's bot platform for connecting humans through messengers to share life experience receives accolades from Siemer and TechWeek

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - November 29, 2016) - Sensay, the company known for its artificial intelligence messaging platform and chatbot network, has been awarded the Wavemaker Award for the Hottest Early Stage Startup at Siemer Summit and it is also a recipient of TechWeek LA 100 Award 2016. Sensay intends to be the AI powered connector for access to between one human to another for knowledge and experience.

Siemer Summit is an annual invite-only, two-day summit which gathers influential tech figures from around the globe for presentations, networking and relationship building. The award that Sensay was honored with this year, Wavemaker's Waverider Award, recognizes the most innovative and promising young companies and leaders. The winners each year are selected by an esteemed panel of Wavemaker Awards judges containing global industry veterans and representatives from top VC firms. This year, Sensay was honored among peers such as Thrive Market and Dollar Shave Club.

TechWeek 100 recognizes the top individuals and organizations, among them 50 Los Angeles based companies that "have made a significant impact on the technology and innovation ecosystem in which they operate." The list represents businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, as well as their leaders. Sensay was honored this year under the Innovator category along with companies like Dollar Shave Club, Soylent and Oculus.

As messengers are becoming the new operating system and bots are the new apps, Sensay straddles a very important area between helping you discover new things and new people. In September, Facebook's David Marcus announced that over 30,000 bots have been built since its opening of the Messenger app to bot developers in April. Companies like Google, Amazon, and Slack are also clamoring for the attention of bot developers onto their own platforms.

Founded in 2014, Sensay has now surpassed 55 million messages on the platform and also reached more than 1.5 million users, which exponentially increase the power of the community and network size.

"Sensay's recognition by these awards signifies its footprint as a trailblazer in the conversational age," said Ariel Jalali, CEO at Sensay. "As the first AI-backed peer-to-peer bot platform, Sensay is demolishing the idea that chatbots disappoint conversationally by demonstrating its value to anyone using the platform the first time they use it. 92 percent of people who used Sensay with needs receive real help from users like them."
