Sensory Networks to Showcase 7Gbps IPS at RSA 2008

Company to Demonstrate How Its New Software Acceleration Libraries, Running on Standard Quad-Core Processor Based Platforms, Can Dramatically Improve Price/Performance, in Booth #1845

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - March 26, 2008) - Sensory Networks, the leader in acceleration technology for network security applications, will be showcasing their new FastChannel™ and HyperScan™ software libraries by demonstrating the acceleration of Snort IPS version 2.8 running at 7 Gbps on a low-cost platform. This will take place at the RSA 2008 conference, held in the Moscone Centre, San Francisco, from April 7th to 11th.

FastChannel and HyperScan are easy-to-integrate software libraries tailored to operate on off-the-shelf Intel® silicon, providing tremendous benefits in the price/performance of security platforms. In contrast to using custom silicon or other acceleration hardware, this represents a clear paradigm shift in the security appliance market.

"We are excited to be showcasing the latest in security acceleration technology at the RSA conference," said Sab Gosal, VP of Marketing for Sensory Networks. "Our FastChannel and HyperScan software libraries are at the forefront of innovation in this space. We invite our customers and partners to see these advances for themselves during the conference."

Sensory Networks will be exhibiting its technology in Intel's booth (#1845) from April 8th to 11th, 2008. Parties interested in seeing the demo and meeting the technical team should contact Sensory Networks at www.sensorynetworks.com.
