Sentry Investments announces change to householding definition for preferred pricing program

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - June 10, 2015) - Earlier this year, Sentry Investments ("Sentry") added extended householding to Sentry Preferred Pricing Program. The extended version went a step further than the standard industry definition of householding to include parents and/or children of the primary investor and/or spouse residing at different addresses.

Upon further consideration, Sentry has decided to change its householding option in order to address some administrative challenges that arose with the expanded definition. Sentry's definition is now consistent with the standard industry definition: family members living at the same address, and corporations in which the primary investor has more than a 50% equity ownership. Through this service, family members who reside within the same household can link their accounts to create a "Household Account". A management-fee reduction is applied beginning with the first dollar, once the Household Account meets a minimum aggregate investment of $250,000.
