Sentry Investments welcomes senior fixed-income portfolio manager

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - August 10, 2015) - Sentry Investments Inc. ("Sentry") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Chim as Senior Portfolio Manager, effective today. Ben will manage the credit portfolios across Sentry's mutual funds with a focus on global high-yield corporate bonds.

Ben brings more than 14 years of experience in fixed income and credit analysis. Most recently, he was Portfolio Manager at Sprott Asset Management LP. Prior to that, he was a Vice-President at TD Asset Management, Investment Analyst at CI Investments Inc., and Credit Analyst at DBRS. Ben is a CFA charterholder and obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario.

Ben will join Sentry's fixed-income team headed by James Dutkiewicz, Chief Investment Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager.
