Don't forget to put your bag full of non-perishable food items on your door step. Volunteers will be by picking up the donations for the largest single day food drive in Calgary.

Calgary Corporate Challenge

September 2017

The Calgary Food Bank is excited to once again be part of the Calgary Corporate Challenge - Charity Challenge. Last year, over 13,000 pounds of food was collected through various Charity Challenge events. Since 2006, the Charity Challenge has collected over 113,000 pounds of food for the Calgary Food Bank. Calgary Food Bank volunteers will be on site at several CCC events collecting Charity Challenge donations; including the: Family Day Event on September 9 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

TransAlta Power Garden - Garden Harvest

The TransAlta Power Garden has been growing fresh veggies for the Calgary Food Bank since 1999. Already this year we have received over 3,600 pounds of fresh items from the garden.

Calgary Farmers' Market- Pie Bake Off

Friday, September 29 & Saturday, September 30 - 11:00am - 3:00pm*

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Head down to the market to take part in a taste test that will help determine who has the best pie. With a donation to the Food Bank you can sample all the pies and when you vote you will be entered into a draw to win a gift basket from the market.

*Starting at 11:00am while supplies last.
