Serenic Announces Stock Option Grants to Employees, Directors and Officers


EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 31, 2011) - Serenic Corporation (the "Company" or "Serenic") (TSX VENTURE:SER), an international software developer specializing in integrated financial management and HCM solutions for Non-Profit organizations, government agencies, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV users, announced today the grant of stock options to Employees, Officers and Directors of the Corporation. A total of 195,000 stock options were granted: 45,000 to non-executive employees of the Corporation; 30,000 to each of the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and the Chairman who also act as directors of the Corporation; 30,000 to each of the two independent Directors of the Corporation; and 15,000 to each of the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company. All options were granted in accordance with the Corporation's compensation policies regarding stock option grants and pursuant to the terms of the Corporation's stock option plan and the appropriate policies of TSX Venture Exchange. All have a strike price of $0.27 per share, shall vest as to one third (1/3) annually on the anniversary date of the grant, and shall expire in five years if unexercised. Options granted to the CEO, Chairman, Directors and Officers were granted in accordance with the Company's compensation plan for Directors and Officers.
