MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2008) - Serus Corporation, a global provider of technology and managed services for companies with distributed or outsourced manufacturing operations, announced today that co-founder and CEO Indu Navar has been awarded the Entrepreneur Award by Indian-American Women Empowered (IWE), an organization that promotes the personal and professional development of Indian-American women in Northern California. The award was presented by California State Senators Elaine Alquist and Ellen Corbett, State Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi, Fremont Mayor Bob Wasserman, Sunnyvale Mayor Anthony Spitaleri and Milpitas Mayor Jose Esteves. Ms. Navar was honored for the combination of her professional success and her dedication to the community.

Serus provides technology and managed services that streamline the outsourced manufacturing operations of global leaders such as AMD, Cisco and Flextronics. The company had a banner 2007, including $10 million in additional venture funding, a tripling of its fabless semiconductor customer base, a designation from Deloitte & Touche as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley and widespread support from customers, media and industry analysts.

"Leaders like Indu inspire greatness in others," remarked Anima Desai, chief executive of Indian-American Women Empowered. "She is a successful, entrepreneurial businesswoman and a visionary who also cares deeply about those around her. We are very pleased to honor such a deserving individual."

Navar co-founded Serus in 2001. Since that initial year, Serus' revenue has grown exponentially and the company is firmly entrenched as an industry leader. Serus is driving a major new market category, Intelligent Operations Management (IOM), which goes well beyond ordinary ERP applications, especially in the areas of global outsourced manufacturing collaboration and visibility.

IOM provides control, accountability and visibility into all of the participants in the value chain. It enables faster and better informed decisions, therefore raising overall customer service levels and leading to significant operational and financial benefits. Furthermore, Serus streamlines and accelerates the dataflow process by providing multiple data source integration and improving inventory visibility and end-to-end process collaboration across the global value chain.

"I am thrilled to accept this award from Indian-American Women Empowered," said Indu Navar, co-founder and CEO of Serus Corporation. "In business and in the community, we must all do our part to help society grow and thrive. I am very appreciative of Indian-American Women Empowered and the great work that it is doing to help young women realize that their dreams can be achieved."
